Suspect sought in Edmonds bank robbery

EDMONDS — Police on Monday released surveillance photographs of a suspected bank robber in hopes of generating tips from the public.

The holdup happened just after 4 p.m. Friday at Chase Bank, 8105 Lake Ballinger Way.

The suspect is described as white, in his mid-20s to mid-30s. He is about 6 feet tall with a stocky build. His strawberry blonde hair is cropped close to his scalp. He was unshaven and wearing dark pants and a black, “Southpole” brand T-shirt with a white skull design. He also was wearing glasses.

Investigators believe that the suspect fled in a 1990s blue, four-door station wagon.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to call the Edmonds police tip line at 425-771-0212.
