BAINBRIDGE ISLAND — A Washington State Patrol bomb squad has removed a suspicious package that had been brought to the Bainbridge Island Police Department.
Lt. Sue Shultz told KOMO-TV that the state patrol x-rayed the package and determined that it did not contain any explosives.
Shultz said a woman who found an unrecognized container in her car brought it to the police station.
The police department was evacuated briefly.
