MARYSVILLE — A Tulalip teen was arrested Tuesday on suspicion that he robbed a gas station at gunpoint.
The boy, 15, was booked into the Denny Juvenile Justice Center for investigation of first-degree robbery.
Marysville police Lt. Darin Rasmussen said he is being held in connection with the 2:12 a.m. holdup of a Shell Station in the 1200 block of Fourth Street. The clerk, 24, told police that the robber displayed a handgun and demanded money. He was wearing a black hooded jacket.
At about 6:30 a.m., police received a tip that the bandit was at a home in the 1200 block of Beach Avenue. The teen was taken into custody without incident. Officers recovered a loaded handgun and a “large quantity of cash,” Rasmussen said.
