MONTESANO — Prosecutors say a 16-year-old boy accused of fatally stabbing an Aberdeen man has been charged as an adult with second-degree murder.

Bail was set at $500,000 Monday.

The teen is accused of stabbing 22-year-old Jon Favro early Saturday in Hoquiam after an argument about a young woman.

The state Corrections Department said Favro was a corrections officer who worked at the state prison in Shelton.
