SEATTLE — A teen who served a short time in juvenile detention for manslaughter in the Tuba Man killing in Seattle is back in jail, accused of possessing a gun.

Police say they caught 18-year-old Kenneth Kelly in a car with a loaded gun on Feb. 26 after a brief chase by gang detectives.

Seattlepi.com reports Kelly is prohibited from carrying a gun because he was one of three 15-year-olds convicted in the 2008 death of Edward McMichael. He was known as Tuba Man for playing the tuba outside sporting events. He was beaten and robbed near the Seattle Center.

Kelly and the two other teens were released after no more than 36 weeks in juvenile detention.
