Washington State Patrol troopers arrested 52 suspected impaired drivers from the Snohomish-King County line to the Canadian border over the Halloween weekend.

In Snohomish County alone, troopers arrested 34 suspected impaired drivers.

The most important number to Trooper Keith Leary was zero.

“We did not have any fatal or serious injuries collisions,” Leary said. “This was our goal and we achieved it.”

Troopers in the region plan on continuing weekend emphasis patrols though the beginning of 2011.
