TUKWILA — Tukwila police say a gunfight with a robbery suspected ended with the man shot dead.

KOMO-TV reported that police were responding to reports of a robbery at a Cash and Carry store around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators say officers were outside the store as the suspect was leaving and shots were fired. Police say it’s unclear who fired first.

The suspected robber was killed during the shooting and no officers or others were injured.

The police officers involved are on paid administrative leave while the incident is investigated, which is standard police procedure.
