EVERETT — Sixty-one homes were without water Thursday afternoon when a water main broke in south Everett.
No property damage was reported when the main broke in the 300 block of 116th Street SE, according to the city’s public works. Repairs were expected to be done by 4 p.m.
An adjacent water main needed to be shut down so that crews could make the fix.
Once the water is back on, people should run their tap until it’s clear and air is released from the line.
