ARLINGTON
Hometown Halloween: Events are Oct. 28 and include a Pumpkin Roll down Third Street Hill (11 a.m.); trick-or-treating at participating businesses on Olympic Avenue (12-1 p.m.); a Harvest Party at Arlington United Church (11 a.m.-1 p.m.); costume contest at Legion Park (1 p.m.); pumpkin decorating contest at Arlington Hardware (1:30 p.m.; drop off pumpkins for judging by noon); and a “Die Laughing” comedy show at Olympic Theater (7 p.m.). CAMANO ISLAND
