OSO — Washington State Patrol investigators are looking for a witness who might have seen a fatal accident east of Arlington in December.

A man and child died in the two-vehicle collision that occurred around 10:30 a.m. Dec. 3. It happened on Highway 530 at the east intersection of Oso Loop Road around milepost 34.

John H. Jones, 60, and Dakota Robertson, 12, both of Concrete, died in the collision.

Jones was driving west in his light blue Toyota pickup when it collided with an eastbound dark blue Ford F-350 pickup. Both vehicles came to rest blocking the eastbound lane.

State Patrol investigators have learned that another vehicle was eastbound in the area just before the collision.

They would like to interview the driver of that vehicle, as well as any other witnesses who might have seen the crash or any event leading up to or following the wreck.

Anyone with information is asked to call trooper Dennis Wojciechowicz at 360-654-1204 or by email Dennis.Wojciechowicz@wsp.wa.gov.
