EVERETT — An Everett woman, 32, is under investigation for attempted robbery after she reportedly tried to hold up a Burger King.

Police allege the woman pulled up to the drive-through window at the Burger King along 19th Avenue SE on Sunday night, according to court papers.

The woman allegedly donned a mask. She then lunged out her car window with a knife and ordered the drive-thru employee to open the cash register.

The employee instead shut the window, and the woman drove off, police wrote.

Moments later, a nearby officer pulled over a car that matched the description of the suspect’s vehicle. When police searched the car, they reportedly found a blue mask and a knife.

The woman was arrested and booked into Snohomish County Jail.
