Woman hospitalized after shooting in Arlington

ARLINGTON — A woman was flown to a Seattle hospital on Tuesday afternoon in critical condition after being shot in Arlington.

The shooting was reported just before 3 p.m. in the 6800 block of 188th Street NE, city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.

The shooting happened under “unknown circumstances,” Banfield said.

Police continue to investigate.
