MESA, Wash. (AP) [—] Authorities in Franklin County are investigating the death of a young woman who killed in a train accident in Mesa north of Richland.

Franklin County Sheriff Richard Lathim tells KNDU (http://is.gd/C1sg85 ) that they’re looking into whether the woman was already dead or unresponsive before she was struck by a BNSF Railway train Saturday morning.
