TACOMA — Pierce County prosecutors have charged a 41-year-old woman with lighting a fire in a courthouse restroom in Tacoma that caused the building to be evacuated.
The News Tribune said Charlotte Clark pleaded not guilty Thursday to reckless burning, criminal impersonation and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Prosecutors say Clark lit a fire inside a trash can in a women’s restroom at the County-City Building on Wednesday morning.
Tacoma firefighters put the fire out. No one was injured.
