EVERETT — Everett police are looking for a man suspected of a sexual assault at Everest College on Wednesday morning.

An Everett woman arrived for classes around 5:30 a.m. and was assaulted at knifepoint, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said. The woman is in her early 40s.

Everett police combed the area with a police dog, and Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies helped contain the area.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s with a round face and a long braid. He is described as about 5-foot-10 and 250 pounds. He was wearing a gray and black puffy jacket.

The special assault unit is investigating. No other similar attacks have been reported recently in the area, Goetz said.

Everest College is near the 1000 block of Everett Mall Way.
