KENMORE — A King County sheriff’s spokeswoman says the driver believed to be responsible for a fatal hit and run crash in the Seattle suburb of Kenmore has turned herself in.
Sgt. Cindi West said the 24-year-old woman surrendered Monday afternoon.
West said officers have also located the pickup truck believed to have been involved in the crash.
A woman out walking her dog early Monday found the body of a 31-year-old Kenmore man. A portion of a pickup headlight was found at the scene.
The Seattle Times reported that the King County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Joseph Humphreys.
