SNOHOMISH — Emergency crews were called early Thursday after a worker died at a Snohomish-area mill.
The man was found unconscious by a co-worker about 5:30 a.m. at the Seattle-Snohomish Mill, police and fire officials said. The man apparently had fallen in a stairway or stairwell, but it wasn’t immediately clear if that was why he died.
Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful, Snohomish County sheriff’s bureau chief Kevin Prentiss said.
Initial indications were that the man’s death appeared to be due to natural causes, Prentiss said.
Further details were not available on Thursday.
