LACEY — Authorities have launched a homicide investigation after a man’s body was found alongside a road in Lacey.
Sgt. Jaime Newcomb of the Lacey police says the man has a traumatic head wound and investigators believe he was shot in the head.
KOMO reported officers responded to the scene at about 7:15 a.m. Sunday after a 911 caller reported seeing a dead man lying in the brush along the side of the road.
Investigators said the body is that of a 28-year-old man who had an out-of-state driver’s license.
