Be honest about allegiance

Being that we seem to be persistent on the path we’re going down, and for some it is down, down, down … but then I digress, so sorry, for the point of this letter was to suggest a revision that might more aptly define us today:

I pledge allegiance to the green flag, of the United State of Capitalism, and to the ideals for which it stands, one corporation under CEOs, indispensable, with unrestrained liberty to maximize profits and justice for those who can afford it.

Sounds pretty American to me, what do you all think? Makes you want to run right over to a bank, lay down some money and sign up doesn’t it? Heck, what are you waiting for, they give ya 1 or 2 percent don’t they?
