Bond defeat easy to grasp

Can one really fault the voters for not passing the bond issue since the Everett School District spent $25 million on a new administration building and the then requested $259.4 million for new facilities, which is almost twice the current bond ($142.5 million) issues that expire in 2016 and 2017?
