Bunning’s point hurt unemployed

Regarding the Wednesday editorial, “Sen. Bunning has a point”:

While I fully agree that the spending in Congress has reached a critical point, Bunning’s method was flawed. You do not make a point of congressional spending by hurting unemployed Americans.

There must have been countless bills he could have made a stand on that would not have had the negative impact that followed. His point could have then been made with a much more positive outcome.
