Cheesed off

The European Union wants to ban the use of European names like Parmesan and Gruyere on cheese made in the United States, arguing that the American products are inferior and cut into sales of European cheeses.

The Buzz calls on President Barack Obama to send a strong message to the despotic cheese snobs at the EU — preferably packaged in a green tube with an indefinite shelf life.

Do androids flip you off while driving 85 mph in rush hour traffic? California officials are trying to figure out how to regulate the use of driverless cars, including whether a person will have to be in the driver’s seat at all.

Keeping Californians out of the driver’s seat: Now that’s what The Buzz calls excellent public policy.

Yukking it up: President Obama bypassed lamestream media hosts like Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday and plugged the Affordable Care Act on “Between Two Ferns,” a satirical interview show hosted by comedian Zach Galifianakis.

The show is part of the Funny or Die website, which critics allege is actually the comedy arm of Obama’s sinister death panel program.
