I am tired of traffic. I am tired of being late to work. I am tired of missing dinner with my family. I realize that our traffic woes won’t be solved tomorrow and we will never get rid of traffic all together but we can make improvements, and Sam Low is fighting for those improvements. When Sam Low introduced himself at the Monroe candidates forum last year his No. 1 issue was transportation. He wanted to address safety on U.S. 2 and congestion on 522 and the trestle. No easy feat for a new councilman. Many of us have grown tired of hearing endless speeches on transportation with nothing in return. Sam Low is different.
Shortly after taking office, Sam traveled to Washington D.C. and met with our Congress members to share our concerns with transportation funding. He has worked tirelessly with our legislators and other elected officials to find creative solutions to our traffic nightmare in east county. We have projects now proposed for 522 and U.S. 2. Sam will keep fighting for safety improvements and traffic relief. I appreciate Sam Low and his great work on transportation issues.
