I can’t wait for this to hit the front page when our national press corps finally wakes up. Your government, under the guise of “fixing our crises,” is spending like mad. Congress and the president are placing this nation so far in debt that we may not be able to recover.
Health-care spending plans being steamrolled through Congress will bankrupt this country. Check out what is happening in Massachusetts. Their utopian health care coverage — the model system — is pushing people off their government insurance. Does “rationing” sound familiar? I am not talking about rich or poor people (yet), but taxpaying immigrants are being put off now, and it will escalate.
People with all types of ailments will be denied care by some politically motivated board. In England, older people are declined life saving procedures because of the costs against the “benefits.” Benefits to whom? It’s not the patient, it’s referring to the “system.” The stimulus is loaded with loopholes enabling the states to use it to avoid making hard choices. They are using it to cover their largess of spending excesses. People like me and you will pay this price. It’s only a matter of time before this catches up and you will be asked to “sacrifice” more to cover up poor governance.
While Korea aims its missiles at us, our only reaction is to tell them to stop. At the same time we are cutting our military back to bare bones and cutting innovative ways to counter this threat. This is not the change you anticipated. Stop being sheep. I hope we don’t have to do what our forefathers did and resort to a bloody revolt before we get our priorities straight.
