Give transit board a proven infusion

Regarding the article, “Edmonds’ tight parking situation hurts Sounder use”: Sound Transit should have known parking on the waterfront is expensive before they rented the tracks from Burlington Northern. Sound Transit should have known that train transit is 200-year-old engineering that must be subsidized. The subsidy is now more than $50,000 per rider per year. Sound Transit needs to stop the Sounder and get a settlement with Burlington Northern before the subsidy per rider per year becomes $100,000.

Sound Transit is having budget problems. All the members on the Sound Transit board are from cities or counties that have budget problems. Boeing has production problems because their business is “too” good. Put all Boeing men and women on the Sound Transit board and watch it become successful.
