Good employees found my lost dough

Recently, I experienced one of life’s nightmares. I lost my wallet.

I realized I’d left it at the Franz bread store on 164th Street, Martha Lake neighborhood in Lynnwood. It was after closing time so the next morning I went to Franz fully expecting the wallet, which held a substantial amount of cash, credit cards etc., to have magically disappeared.

When I arrived the next morning the clerk looked at my stressed face and said. “Did you leave something here yesterday?”

She returned my wallet with all of its contents intact, and my faith in human nature restored.

I offered her a cash reward on the spot, and she declined it.

My kudos and deep gratitude to the employees of the Franz Bakery store. They’ve proven that at our cores, people are good and will do the right thing.
