I would like to share a few thoughts regarding 10th legislative district candidate Dave Hayes. I have been a resident of Camano Island for 20 years. Dave has been a friend and neighbor of mine for 16 of those years. Over this time I have grown to know Dave and his family quite well.
Dave served six years in the Navy, eight years as a Marysville police officer, and the past 14 years as a Snohomish county sheriff. He has spent his entire adult life dedicated to serving our country and our communities. Dave was so respected by his peers in law enforcement that he was elected president of WACOPS (Washington Council of Police and sheriffs). Dave currently shares his law enforcement expertise by teaching Professional Development in Criminal Justice at Everett Community College.
Dave is a devoted family man having raised two fine sons. He is a man of his word. He has been successful in his personal and professional life due to his honesty, integrity and values. He is committed to public safety and education — the cornerstones of our communities. Above all else, what Dave will bring to Olympia is character.
That’s why I’m voting for Dave Hayes.
