Is it too late? Have the big-money special-interest groups found the solution for removing us from participating in their democracy? We’ve wasted so much time bickering between ourselves about which party is the least corrupt that few have noticed they’ve both sold us out.
Recent Supreme Court decisions ruled that special interests are also humans, but they speak with their unlimited money. It seems the majority of real human beings think that decision is tortured and want to change it.
Let’s change some definitions:
Lobbyist — a person who hauls special-interest money to politicians.
Lobby money — a flat out bribe.
Elected official — one who peddles his/her influence for lobby money.
Politician — a puppet who feeds at the special-interests trough.
Congress — the place every special-interest manipulates its puppets.
Citizens — dupes who think they still have some say in government.
Change your vote to a veto. We begin by vetoing those Supreme Court decisions, and that can only be done with an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. This won’t get by our paid-off Congress, but 34 states can ask for a constitutional convention seeking such change, and 16 states have already joined that process — your vote could include ours.
Start by searching online for I-1329 or Wamend.org Read, sign, and vote. I-1329 is grassroots (all volunteer, and no-profit making.) If you want your vote to count again, begin here, because this might be the very last time it will.
