I’m sorry Joe Drazich, but your satirical letter of May 15, “Groups efforts against our laws,” may have just the opposite effect to that I’m sure you intended. It will be picked up and quoted throughout the social and media world as a truthful expose of “Organizing for Action.” The extension of President Obama’s political philosophy into our current political discussions has already been blasted by Breitbart, the American Thinker, Infowars, Fox News, and all sorts of alt-right media actors. So I’m afraid that your obviously satirical letter will just unfortunately be add to the “Swamp.”
Satire too often gets picked up by the gullible and groups who don’t necessarily have any concern for the facts and be propagated as “real news,” but really constitute “fake news.” We all know how much “fake news” was distributed last year by both our American friends and the Russian friends of our American friends.
