Regarding the March 7 article, “Port of Everett wants a waterfront plan, with or without a developer“:
Let’s all hope Everett develops its waterfront to include things for all citizens and activities for all ages and incomes.
Look to Edmonds’ and Kirkland’s development of their waterfronts — park areas, shops and great restaurants. The people spill over to the downtown areas of both cities.
We all need a place to relax (with an ice cream cone) to enjoy the scenery and have access to the water. Any day or weekend these waterfront areas are in use and enjoyed by all.
