Moral, political issues different

I have read nothing but tripe and Republican-bashing from Froma Harrop’s column since subscribing to your paper but Tuesday’s really did it for me. (“Let’s stop arguing about birth control.”) Those of us who think birth control and even more important, abortion or the abortion pill, are wrong and don’t wish to support them with our money are not going to change our conviction no matter how long.

This is a moral issue not a political issue. It may become socially acceptable as slavery once was but it will never be morally OK to kill the unborn. To infer that Christians just don’t get it, as Froma did, is an insult beyond the pale.
