Just read the Herald’s Thursday article regarding the slide problem between Everett and Seattle. (“Agencies seek fixes to mudslides, train disruptions.”) I wonder if there is any concern about another 18 trains going along that route to Bellingham if it is decided to go ahead with the coal shipments. It seems like the vibration might be a problem for the unstable bank. Maybe not, but it would be great if someone in the know could enlighten me.
