Must be a computer virus going around

Not Always Low Prices: Wal-Mart says a technical error on its website caused incorrect prices to be listed for some items, including a $33 treadmill and a $9 computer monitor.

Wal-Mart should have known something was up when it listed a platinum health care policy for $4.99 that healthcare.gov says retails for at least $29.99.

Time keeps on slipping: A group of state residents who were 10 years old in 1989 when they were sworn in as keepers of the state’s centennial time capsule, are now planning what to add to the capsule for the state’s 125th birthday in 2014. One wants to add music from Nirvana and Macklemore.

Our suggestions of touchstones from the last 25 years: An Alex Rodriguez Mariner bobblehead, a smoldering 787 Dreamliner battery, a cracked pontoon from the Highway 520 floating bridge and a case of Los Angeles-brewed Rainier Beer.

Be kind, rewind: Blockbuster announced it was closing the last of its 300 DVD rental stores, admitting it couldn’t compete with Netflix’s mail service and online video streaming.

Now we feel bad we never paid our late fee when we misplaced the “Dirty Dancing” VHS tape.
