North end not a welcoming sight

I just returned to Everett by way of North Broadway. My first indication that I was near Everett was the strange aroma blowing across Highway 529. I then was treated to the view of large trucks parked along North Broadway, some with cabs, others without cabs.

Next was the usual assortment of motels and derelicts sleeping on the sidewalks. I also noticed the addition of new taverns with patrons standing out front yelling at cars. Oh, how great to be back in Everett — The All-America City.
