Regarding the article, “Charting her own course”: Regarding state Rep. Elizabeth Scott, I can only hope her public “service” is remembered with the same degree of respect that she demonstrated by refusing to sign the resolution recognizing the service of Gov. Booth Gardner. This example of her apparent inability to rise above partisanship speaks volumes. I can only hope “Her own course” is not followed by anyone else.
This appears to be yet another example of the troubling situation faced by our country and our state due to the radical fringe on both sides of the political spectrum showing disregard for compromise, graciousness, and common sense. Apparently, Ms. Scott can’t see the forest for the trees and is contentious to the core.
