In response to the letter, “Trust is highest requirement”: I wonder why the author cites the field of psychology and law saying that these two job industries would, if allowed to perpetuate, become a self-destructive system bringing down the “good and the bad” with it. I would suggest that taking advantage of people in any profession, be it medicine, auto repair, dentistry, teaching, fast food industry, sports (on any level) etc., is “immoral” and “unethical” and not something we as a society aspire to.
The bottom line is that there is good and bad in all people of every profession. Hold yourself and your children to a high standard. God forbid, we don’t want to uniformly become psychologists and lawyers that are untrustworthy!
