Regarding the letter, “Critical columnist lacks credibility”: I re-read Julie Muhlstein’s June 30 column, “Even the Catholic Church undergoes changes.” I do not know what religion the writer is and I do not care. After reading her letter, where she proceeds to throw Muhlstein under the bus, tears were brought to my eyes.
I have been a practicing Catholic for 80 years and am well educated and I fail to see hardly any relevancy of Catholic history or current knowledge in her disgusting critique. I wonder how The Herald saw fit to print such garbage full of errors.
I pray the Catholic Church rapidly continues with many needed changes for the good of all its members such as prayers, rulings for priests and our members. What we do not need is planting the letter writer’s sinister seeds in writing or by mouth.
Enough said.
