Top down, wind in her hair

Dude looks like a lady: A driver was given a ticket for $124 for driving his Miata in the carpool lane on I-5 when his only passenger was a male mannequin wearing what State Patrol trooper Mark Francis called “a hideous and obvious” blond shoulder-length woman’s wig.

That’s a little harsh, isn’t it, trooper? It’s bad enough the guy got a ticket. Do you have to go and insult his date, too?

Incomplete pass: Retired NFL great Bret Farve, 44, said he turned down an offer from the St. Louis Rams to come out of retirement and help the injury-plagued team. Farve said he feared that he had suffered too many concussions in his career to make a return.

But by turning down the Rams, Farve has proved that he’s kept his cognitive skills.

My home is your home: A new study says that 3 in 10 millennials, those born between 1982 and 2002, have had to move back in with their parents at some point because they couldn’t afford to live on their own, a far higher percentage than among baby boomers.

The study didn’t say how many baby boomers were looking at their checkbooks and wondering when to bring up the subject of moving in with their kids.
