In the Sunday article in The Herald about gun suicide deaths we again blame the guns. Why don’t we dig deeper beyond the guns to get to the truth? If you compare the year-to-year chart of gun suicides to the chart of the economy you will see a pattern. If you want to place blame it should be put on the people who created the housing bubble that led to the crash which led to job losses that led to desperate people who chose to end their lives because they lost everything?
