Town and country: With mortgage rates hovering around record lows, we thought we’d point out a couple of hot properties: A three-floor penthouse in Manhattan offers six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a 1,000-bottle wine room for $100 million. Or you can buy the 706-acre ghost town of Woodside, Utah, with a gold mine and geyser, for a more affordable $3.9 million.
Better hurry, because we’re seriously considering the Utah property. It also has two free-range llamas, and unlike in New York, you don’t have to pick up after them.

Speaking of the Bee Hive State: Cities in Utah and South Dakota did well in a recent ranking of best cities for successful aging, according to a California think tank. Cities were ranked on health care, crime rates, weather and “social engagement factors.”
A friendly tip: When socially engaging with a llama don’t get too close; they spit.

Liberté, égalité, fraternité: France’s parliament has approved legislation that makes sexual harassment a crime, punishable by up to three years in prison.
The law establishes three levels of harassment: starting at Jerry Lewis calling out “nice lady,” moving up to pestering mime, and for the most serious offenses, Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
