Regarding the Friday editorial, “Common sense and firearms”: One majority will vote for I-594 (requires background checks), another majority will vote for I-591 (prohibits background checks) and 40 percent will vote for both!? That 40 percent is an example of the uneducated voter skewing the system with no idea what or why they are voting. Please, folks — become an educated voter and learn the facts. Do some investigation. Remember when we decided to privatize liquor sales? All that did was raise liquor prices 30-plus percent and put most of the independent (privately owned) liquor stores out of business. Yep, the uneducated voter brought you that mess too.
