Wenta a proven consensus builder

I would like to add my voice to those that have recommended Ted Wenta for Everett School Board. I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Ted for the past 18 years, both through the Everett Family YMCA where Ted is employed as the executive director, and through Rotary, where he chairs the Next Generation Project, a project that has successfully aided students, through mentorship and scholarship, achieve their educational goals beyond High School.

Ted has demonstrated true leadership and vision in everything he takes on. He has the experience and skills necessary to deal with both the economic and personnel issues that face the school board directors daily. Importantly, Ted has also shown that he is capable of working with a wide variety of people, and is willing and able to build consensus among people who come to the table with at times competing concerns. In sum, Ted has the temperament and talent required to make an excellent member of the school board.
