It seems like every few days I see another letter from someone who wants to take back their country. They usually complain about the 12 million illegal immigrants that now call America home. Most all of the 12 million were here the last time they took back the country under G.W. Bush. If the tea party types think the Republican party will do a thing about low-wage workers they have another think coming.
I have worked in many Republican-run states and even though the hunting and fishing were usually better, the wages were always lower. There was also way more poverty, more ignorance, more unhealthy people and so on. If you were a nonunion construction worker you had better be able to speak Spanish. Anyway, I don’t see this problem being solved any time soon no matter who is in office.
