Everett schools put in lockdown during police activity

EVERETT -- Three Everett schools were placed in a short lockdown Tuesday afternoon because of nearby police activity.A message about the lockdown was sent out to parents around 2:30 p.m., Everett Public Schools spokeswoman Mary Waggoner said.
