SULTAN -- Taylor Turner finished 5-for-6 with a home run, five runs scored and two RBI and Kailyn Campbell drove in four runs to help the Red Wolves move into a tie for first place in the Cascade Conference. Sultan's Rachel Kirkpatrick and Randi Tuggle each had three hits and two RBI.

Cedarcrest advances to 2A state championship
The Cedarcrest girls soccer team is in the 2A state championship. The Red Wolves 2-0 victory over East Valley (Spokane) was impressive as the Cascade Conference champs pounded away at the Knight's goal until they surrendered.
