Buckley officer’s leg broken during struggle with suspect

BUCKLEY — Police say an officer in Buckley suffered a broken leg in a struggle with a sex offender.KOMO-TV reported that it happened about 6:30 a.m. Friday when the officer went to serve a warrant at a residence near the intersection of Mountain View Avenue and South Division Street.

Cracks on bridge between Enumclaw and Buckley force closure

BUCKLEY — Transportation officials say they’ve closed the White River Bridge on State Route 410 after an inspection revealed cracks.KOMO-TV reported that the inspection came soon after an oversize truck struck the bridge and caused damage early Saturday.
