LYNDEN -- One man was killed and another wounded in the head in a shooting Tuesday night at a house in Lynden.Police believe another person fired the shots and drove off, but no suspect or motive has been determined.

Shining spotlight at pilot brings 60-day sentence

SEATTLE -- A Lynden man has been sentenced to 60 days in jail and 90 days of home detention for shining a high-powered spotlight at a low-flying Customs and Border Protection helicopter pilot, temporarily blinding the pilot.
