54-year-old Oak Harbor man killed in dune buggy crash

LYMAN — The Washington State Patrol says a 54-year-old Oak Harbor man was killed in dune buggy crash east of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, on Saturday afternoon.KOMO-TV reported the crash happened on a Forest Service road just south of Lyman in Skagit County.

SEATTLE — A man suspected of being the “Alabama Band Bandit” faces felony charges of robbing five banks in July in Lynnwood, Bellingham and Shoreline. Federal prosecutors on Friday also charged Michael Ryan Hardesty with possessing a stolen firearm.
