Pasco woman found near pond with possible bullet wound to head

ZILLAH, Wash. — The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after finding a 36-year-old woman who apparently had been lying in some brush for days with a possible bullet wound to her head.

5 workers injured by shotgun pellets in Zillah orchard

ZILLAH, Wash. — The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office says five orchard workers were injured when they were hit in the legs by shotgun pellets near Zillah.Sheriff’s Sgt. William Boyer says police believe whoever fired the shots Sunday afternoon was actually aiming at birds.
