So Seahawks fans, you still upset about the Seahawks losing Steve Hutchinson to the Vikings after the 2005 season? Then you won’t want to hear what Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson had to say when he was asked about Hutchinson on a conference call with Seattle reporters.
“You should see me right now,” he said. “I’m doing a dance because we got him and y’all don’t”
He also added: “It’s funny to me you guys let him go.”
I think most Seahawks fans would call it something other than funny.
The Seahawks facing Hutch is one of the many interesting story lines leading up to this week’s game. You’ve also got Nate Burleson returning to play in Minnesota in a regular season game for the first time since he played for the Vikings. And let’s not forget that the Vikings were one of the teams that was interested in T.J. Houshmandzadeh this offseason. Houshmandzadeh signed with the Seahawks in large part because he liked their quarterback situation better than the one in Minnesota. That was of course before Brett Farve un-retired for the 42nd time to join the Vikings.
Aske if there were any regrets about his choice to come to Seattle instead of Minnesota, which is 8-1 and looks like a real Super Bowl contender, Houshmandzadeh said it’s way too early to know if his decision was a good one, noting he plans to play for a long time past this year.
